Friday Features: ‘Little Snowflakes’ And ‘The Variegated Life’

Little Snowflakes is a blog I hate to love. She tidies her house. She has a plan. She works out and makes it sound like a good idea. And she proves that everything I say I can’t find the time or energy for is just an excuse. She’s bothersome and it’s totally my own fault… more

Pic Of The Week – Week 51 – Christmas Time, Mistletoe And Wine

Well, there hasn’t been much mistletoe or wine, truth be told, but there has been plenty fun and game. I find it rather hard to get my head around the fact that it’s the last week of 2011.  Where exactly has this year gone?! Well, it’s the second last Pic of the Week, since I… more

Hevea Natural Rubber Bath Toys Review And Competition

Pic Of The Week – Week 50 – Tree Decorating

I had such fun putting up the Christmas tree with Ameli. It’s the first time she’s really been able to help or shown an interest, which made it all the more exciting for both of us. She’s become so expressive in her language usage and her understanding of things, and it’s just been an amazing time… more

Freya Designs Memory Box Review And Competition

Soon after Ameli was born, my friend Kesia sent us a massive gift box filled to the brim with baby products, books and a whole bunch of gorgeous bits and pieces for her.  I popped everything relating to the pregnancy, birth and the next few months, into the box and when she was about 7… more

Bump Watch – 30 Weeks

I really need to find someone who wants to do a maternity shoot for me, because this picture was just a spur of the moment thing. We were walking into the local Birdworld and they were offering free photos to passers-by (with the hope you’d book a full shoot for another day, I guess.) So… more

I really need to find someone who wants to do a maternity shoot for me, because this picture was just a spur of the moment thing. We were walking into the local Birdworld and they were offering free photos to passers-by (with the hope you’d book a full shoot for another day, I guess.) So we agreed and got our free photo (they actually gave us two, one including the bump) and I just love the picture!
