Father’s Day is just around the corner now and I wanted something for my hubby that would remind him of his girls, but also be practical and useful. I decided, after ages spent perusing the Your Surprise website on a shoulder bag that he could use as a nappy bag while out and about with Ameli.

It was definitely the right decision.

The ordering process is really simple – just upload a picture, or not, choose a background, or not, and text, or not.

I chose this picture and put it on that bag – and I’m not showing you the end result as I know my husband might pick this up on his feed reader, and if he does I don’t want to totally ruin his surprise!

As it turned out, the picture I sent them wasn’t of high enough quality, so they send me an email asking if I’d be able to send along a picture with better resolution. I did and very soon after received confirmation that my order had been processed.

A few days later a box arrived at my front door and simple as that Father’s day was sorted.

The image is beautifully printed, and the border suits it perfectly.

The bag has a zipped main pocket with a phone pouch, and a hidden internal pocket. There’s also an outer ‘secret’ zipped section and another on top. There’s a zip around three sides too, to extend the capacity which is a brilliant touch. It means the difference between just a couple of nappies and some wipes, or that plus some snacks and a juice.

I think the bag is a perfect size for dads – or at least this dad – who doesn’t like taking a whole nappy bag out with him.

Because only one side has a print on it, I think most men would be okay with carrying it out and about too, as you can just turn the print side inwards if you don’t want to advertise the picture or text on the front.

All in all I think it’s excellent quality and a great present and I think our daddy is going to love it.

Father’s Day Shoulder Bag From Your Surprise Review

  1. My favourite gift for fathers day has to be the phone cover with a picture of ur children on purely as its personal and different and would be looked at every day

  2. The bottle of Stoffel Cremant Brut with a photo and personalised label is a fab idea!

  3. A lot of stuff there are so thoughtful but my dad is a man of pride and I would like to get something he would be proud to hang up and forever lasting and that would definitely have to be the Canvas photo print. I would get the most recent family photo together so he can hang it up in his living room so when we’re not around he can still remember he has us and he’s there in our hearts. A gift that he can see everyday rather than be eaten away or hidden away so no matter how grey and blue a day gets he can look up and smile as the photo canvas will bring him sunshine.

  4. the beer mug or apron would be best for popsie at our house ,he does all the cooking and has his weekend beers at home

  5. I like the song where u can add a name. My childrens dad loves his music this would be fab 🙂

  6. I would love the sparkling wine with a personalised label! I think that would go down very well indeed!

  7. I love the board games with photo as hopefully a picture of our beautiful children would distract him so much I could finally beat him at chess. Then we would both be winners! Thanks for the brilliant competition.

  8. My favourite is the Champagne with photo

I have liked Your Surprise on Facebook, and left a message on their wall saying that you have sent me (Alice Hindley)

  9. The pillow’s definitely my favourite. I love it! I know my dad would definitely love one of them 🙂

  10. Great giveaway thank you! I think my dad would appreciate the bbq apron as he is always chief ‘bbq’er’ and doesn’t have an apron! As he is a typical man – burning most of the food and wiping his charcoaly hands down his top and pants – I think he desperately needs a decent apron to keep his clothes clean (just hope they are flame proof lol!)

  11. Hi, the beer bottle with photo label would be another great Father’s Day gift for my husband from our 1 year old son. He loves real ales, and has sampled most of them!! Although I think he has yet to try the one they are offering! It’s a fab idea.
    Thanks

  12. I love the desk clock with your own photo would make a fab Fathers day gift!
    Thankyou for the lovely competition!
