We had a pretty quiet Christmas, with just the inlaws here. We decided not to overwhelm Ameli with presents, so although there were about eight bits and pieces under the tree for her, we spread opening them over the course of Christmas eve and Christmas day so that she had a chance to actually play with each item before opening the next. I’m really pleased we did that as it worked really well and she got to spread the excitement out.
