Carriwell Breast Pads Review

When I was newly breastfeeding with Ameli, I used disposable breast pads for the shortest amount of time possible. I simply hated them. I didn’t have ‘decent’ nursing bras, and I found the disposable pads crinkled, moved around and somehow, mysteriously, disappeared. I really hated using them and stopped as soon as I could get…

Mama Jewels Breastfeeding Necklace And Bracelet Review And Competition

I have a lovely memory of somewhere in the first few weeks of my daughter’s life, my mother and I sitting in my living room threading beads to make a breastfeeding reminder bracelet to help me remember which side my baby had last fed from. Emma Jane Maternity Tights Review

Much of the UK is covered in snow, ice or at least extreme cold right now and while I do my best to embrace wherever I am in the world, I am no fan of the freezing wind cutting through my clothes. Of course, being almost full-term pregnant my wardrobe choices are currently highly limited,…

Books To Prepare Children For Childbirth, Homebirth Or Waterbirth

I went to my library recently to find books to use to prepare Ameli, not only for a new sibling, but also for the arrival of a new child. While there were plenty books and stories, there weren’t any that didn’t have the older sister or brother going in to the hospital room to see…

BoobieMilk Bras Competition

I have under-estimated the value of a decent bra for most of my adult life. I love pretty underwear. There’s something feminine about it. It makes me feel good… I like it – I just never thought it was a worthwhile investment.  Until I had my first bra-fitting for a decent bra: one that doesn’t…
