Our weeks are sometimes so diverse, it’s hard to find a common theme. This is one of those weeks. From Folkstone to Norway, a bit of London, some nature and some routine, but always two constants: the people I love in the life we live.

Letter to a Six Month Old
Dear Kyra
I can’t believe you’re six months old today.
You’re asleep here next to me, and I look down over your long little body and my breath quickens as I try to take it all in. I can still see you, a tiny little curled up figure, barely bigger than my two hands lying in the same position this moment six months ago.
365-35 to 365-41 A Week in Pictures
Another week come and gone, and life with a child is steadily finding its rhythm
Becoming a Better Blogger
You know that girl in school who moped around cause she only got 97% on her exam? Well that was me. What happened to the other three percent? What if that was the knowledge that would have saved someone’s life? I’ve been told I have a tendency to be hard on myself.
365-20 The Day I Found My Feet
Every day brings new experiences, and sometimes the smallest things are the greatest fun… today, she found her feet, and now she rarely lets go!
365- 10 Chubby Cheeks
I see changes in her every day. Little things, like making the connection between hand and mouth. Or holding on to something. Or smiling. Or laughing. I love here how her smile reaches her eyes.
Growing Days
Things have been really busy in our little family the last few weeks. We seem to be settled in to our new roles of father, mother and baby, and by the looks of things, we’re all adapting to these roles quite well. I can’t believe that Kyra is 8 weeks old already, and the changes are phenomenal. Every day seems to bring something new.
