A few weeks, or months ago, I wrote that Kyra was starting to teethe. At the time I, stupidly, naively, thought people were right to groan when it came to teething. It really is a miserable time. Look at Kyra. She wasn‘t eating well or sleeping well. Phew. Was that a false reality. On a scale of 1 to 10 of horrible times, I thought it was a 7. In light of the last few days, I’m regrading then down to a three!

On Red Tape and Checklists
A few weeks ago, Kyra and I returned to our embassy to register her birth and request her passport. After the madness of our first trip, I was well prepared for this one. Forms completed and signed, photographs taken, passports, birth certificates, marriage certificate, a bottle of expressed milk, nappies, a book to read… what could possibly go wrong?
