On the 21st of this month, I will have lived in the UK for 7 years. Of that 7 years, I will have lived in London for 4 1/2 years. I was looking through some photo albums recently, when it dawned on me that living here, I’d never taken photos of those ‘iconically British’ things – the post box, the telephone box and the Routemaster Bus. So, inbetween my normal activities, I kept an eye out for these and managed to complete the set pretty quickly. So, in celebration of my 7 year montheversary, here are some iconic London moments taken over the last week.

365-42 to 365-48 A Week in Pictures
The days around here are cold and wet at the moment. Our holiday was cancelled, and our roof is leaking rain water. There is much to be frustrated about and down about, and yet days are filled with moments of beauty. And it’s in those moments that we make our memories.

365-27 Nature Path, Whitstable, Kent
It was freezing cold walking along the coastal path, but lovely and very fresh!

Well, what it says on the tin, really. Pebbles from our trip to the coastal town of Whitstable, Kent.

365-14 Promises of Spring
As a baby brings the promise of a new life, so the budding leaf brings promises of spring.
365-7 The Passage of Time
A great thing about living in an old old city is how much history everything has!
365-6 Not A Snow Culture
I walked all the way to this cafe to have a mug of hot chocolate, just to find it was closed due to the snow.
I was not impressed!
