Another week come and gone, and life with a child is steadily finding its rhythm

Day 35 -Painting Ceramics

I arranged for some mom-friends to visit Biscuit Ceramic Cafe in Greenwich, London to ‘paint’ some ceramic items. We had a lovely time, although we all painted for our little ones. That’s one of the bonuses of being a mom – you get to relive your childhood and say you’re ‘doin’ it for the kids!’

Day 35

Day 36 – Dinner

One of my favourite foods ever is Sushi. I came to it late in life, but have made up for it in the years I’ve been eating it! I’ve only recently started trying to roll them so that we have something other than sashimi, but I’m not that good yet. They tend to want to fall over! Fortunately that doesn’t harm the flavour!

Day 37 – Lantern

Out and about on another dull gray day, this beautiful lantern brought me some cheer. I thought it did a great job of brightening the place up. If nothing else, it’s certainly eye catching!

Day 37

Day 38 – Chocolate

This is the kind of Valentines I could get on board with! The small ‘chocolate’ was the size of my hand.  Pity, or maybe a good thing, that it was plastic

day 38

Day 39 – Bakery

The window of a local bakery. It just always looks so warm and inviting. And smells simply great.

day 39

Day 40 – Drooling

Poor Baby. She is going through a never ending amount of bibs at the moment, just drooling all over the place. At least she can still smile about it!

day 40

Day 41 – Foot in Mouth

I was taking pictures of Ameli playing in the bath, when she suddenly grabbed her foot and popped it straight in her mouth! The first time ever, and I got it on camera. I was giddy with excitement. I’m such a mother!

365-35 to 365-41 A Week in Pictures

  1. What great photos! Looks like you had an awesome week. I’d love to go and paint ceramics. And where in the world did you find that gorgeous latern? It sure brightened my day! Lastly, your little girl is a doll and I absolutely love her name. That photo of her in the bath with her foot in her mouth is classic! 🙂

  2. Ok so now I’m really hungry after all those yummy photos. And so cute, little foot in mouth. I love that stage. Early on, my bubba started doing this clapping thing with his feet. He only does it occasionally since he became adept at clapping with his hands, but I do miss my baby seal!
