Bras4mums is a home business set up to help women find the right type of maternity or nursing bra. It is owned by TJ Hughes, a breastfeeding mother of two herself. Based in Lancashire, Bras4mums offers an at home fitting service in the North West of England, and for the rest of England and the world, they offer a mail order service on maternity and nursing bras, swimwear and support garments.

After the birth of her second son, TJ struggled to find bras that fit her, and was frustrated at attempts to be fitted professionally. As a result she set up her own business, completed the De Montfort University bra-fitting course and became an NCT bra agent.bras4mums

After five years of specialist experience Bras4mums now trains health professionals on the importance of properly fitted bras.

With the effects of a badly fitted bra being well known and well reported this valuable service is even more so during breastfeeding. Comfort for both mother and baby can only help increase the chances of successful breastfeeding and reduce the possibility of pain.

In support of National Breastfeeding Awareness Week Bras4mums has kindly agreed to offer Diary of a First Child readers a £25 voucher to use on any item from their stock. They stock beautiful nursing bras, nursing clothes and nightware, as well as an impressive range of nursing accessories. In short, you won’t have any trouble spending your money in this shop!

Simply head over to Bras4mums and tell me what your favourite nursing bra is.

In order to enter this competition, simply head over to Bras4mums and have a look a their nursing bras, nursing lingerie sets, or plus size nursing bras, then come back here to tell me what your favourite is. I have to admit a liking for the Midnight Charm nursing bra myself!

  5. I’m really grateful for the link to the plus size maternity bras. I’m currently in a H cup, and it’s so difficult to find a bra that fits at the best of times, let alone while nursing, and to find an attractive one is even more of a challenge. (Wish the HOTmilk ones went up a couple of sizes more, though!)

    1. @Lorraine,
And duh, I pressed the submit button before I said that my favourite is the Emily Daisy underwired. I really can’t wait to hoist my tatas back into a wired bra!

  7. I love Hotmilk bras…think I’d want the HOTmilk Awakened by her Desire Nursing Bra next. I made the mistake of buying a Royce bra last time I was measured in Bravissimo & I can’t do the cup back up with one hand which is a pain!

  9. I love the Hot Milk She Blushed with Desire… I wish I had known about Hot Milk before, I went to Bravissimo for nursing bras and could only get the Royce ones which are a bit boring and unattractive! 🙂

  10. I love the HOTmilk Awakened by her Desire Nursing Bra, I have a few nursing bras and all are very comfortable but also very practical. This bra is a lovely, feminine bra which would look great and make me feel very glamorous
